Well well well…. yeah it’s been FAR too long! With work and all randomness that life has brought on to Beth and I, we are just now finding time to both post in our blog. We lost some staff at work so both of us have been super busy picking up more hours there and then of course we both got sick too.
Home ownership! I had a request for some pictures after my last post and so I figured I could post a couple pictures and oblige our readers!
Last post, I wrote about some of our home repairs and one of those was adding a storm/screen door to the front of our house. To the left above is the before picture and the right is the picture after the door was installed (complete with a picture of my goofball husband ❤ ).
We also fixed our fence that day (which had blown over in a storm 2 weeks after we moved into the house). Low and behold, as above, the left photo (complete with goofball again) is the before picture, and the left side is what it looked like after the repairs. Thankfully we had a coworker who knew how to fix the fence so we didn’t have to go and spend tons of money in order to have someone fix it for us. Plus, now we don’t look like trash for having a broken fence anymore. 😉
My favorite thing that we have done so far though….. is by far the beginning of upgrading our kitchen appliances. We had all white appliances before in our kitchen. They were pretty basic and yes, they all worked. But they were not what we wanted and they were something that we wanted to work on changing. With the help of family (as in the fact that we got married so this was a wedding present), we upgraded 2 out of our 4 kitchen appliances thanks to an extremely good sale. Below are the before and after photos of the kitchen!
This is the before picture (the best one I have). Lots of white and dark brown. Clean but not my style at all (and I would like to think Kyle hated them too).
And the after picture (please ignore the mess… I’m still sick and have been in bed the last 2 and a half days).
After a LONG debate and asking for help on facebook for suggestions on whether to go with black, white, or stainless steel…. Kyle and I agreed that stainless was going to be the best in our house for us (plus I got my glass cooktop!!! — I REALLY hate coils and drip pans).
So to finish off the post, I am going to post a random collage of multiple photos of the house, some before paint and some after. There is nothing really in the photos because it was all before we started moving stuff in but you guys can at least get an idea for the inside of our house.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Frith House!
As always, comment and share our page with your friends and family!
Love you always!
